We're Pregnant

Well, this is the story...around 6:00p we went to find a pregnancy test. We couldn't find one so we decided just to pass. We couldn't get pregnant on the first try. Right? Then around 8:00p we went to the Saturn dealership to something I left in our car, which was getting repaired, completely different story; on the way home, we decided to stop by Target to see if there were any tests, and there was.

So, we got it and came home. Excitedly, Emily read the directions at least three times. I mean, how hard could it pee, I mean be? The directions said to wait at least two minutes for the results. As soon as we laid the test down, WE SAW THE PLUS SIGN!!! Shocked! Amazed! we were Blessed. Emily said my eyes popped out of my head. All I heard her say was, "Even if it's faint, it's positive!" Well, it wasn't faint. It was as loud and bold as you can get! WE'RE PREGNANT!!! We left the bathroom and prayed together and asked God for protection for our family, Emily, and our now conceived baby. I encourage you to do the same for us.

After that, we went back to look at the test, and this time it the test was smiling! Yes! Smiling and saying, "Congratulations! You're Pregnant!" We went upstairs to learn all about babies on the Internet and what's happening inside of Emily's currently skinny body and what's going to happen in the next few weeks. We're off to bed now, like we're actually going to get any sleep. I'll close with this verse from Psalms 127: 3-5

Behold, children are a gift of the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one's youth.
How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them;
They will not be ashamed
When they speak with their enemies in the gate.
